Why wont my 1988 f150 start? It fuel injected with a 351w.?

Replaced Cap, rotor, coil, electronic ignition module, and fuel pressure switch, also new battery and alternator. Cranks and fires and you can smell the fuel after cranking for awhile. It wants to run. I just bought the truck and someone put a motor out of a 1989 f250 in it. What else could it be?
Yeah i marked it and everything the timing is exactly where it was. But when i do the plugs and wires this weekend i am going to make sure the timing is in the right place
Because the body was worth 500 bucks theres no rust on anything, sometimes it doesnt have to run. Some people need to learn that

when you changed the rotor did you put it back in in the same position as when you took the old one out? timing could be completely out of wack.

It could be LOTS of things causing this. Why would you purchase a vehicle not running? I would have the pos towed to a shop tomorrow and let a professional have a look at it.

If you smell fuel you have an overly rich (flooded) condition. Spark with no strt could be out of time.

The fuel injection might not be set right, or your spark plugs might be flooded.

The plugs you can pretty much check the gap and clean them.

However the fuel injection you’d probably would have to take to a diagnostics center.

Or it could be bad fuel.

And to fix that all you would have to do is either drain the tanks, or buy fuel injection cleaner.

Check the spurk plugs thats could be the problem or the gas pump and filter
