1) Police – some are solid blue/ blue and clear/ others are blue/clear/with amber warning lights
2)Fire – trucks are solid red- emergency fire cars use- flashing strobes clear- sometimes with red lights on top
3) Ambulance – red/clear strobes
4) tow trucks – amber
5) Snow plows – amber (rarely used)

Fire = Red
Ambulance = Red/White
Tow Trucks = Yellow
Snow Plows = Yellow

In Pennsylvania they are as follows;
1 police- red&blue, sometimes white is also added and amber to rear
2 fire-red&white with amber added on rear
3 amb-red&white with amber added on rear
4 tow-amber,sometimes white added
5 plow-amber, sometimes white added
