Just bought this car after it sitting for 4-6 months. Previous owner said it always started and ran fine, she parked it because it got hot after a bit. I let the battery charge all the way, and put fresh gas in it. I turn the key to ON, and I can hear the fuel pump prime. I turn the key to start it and the engine turns over, but never fires up. So I pulled a plug wire and put a spare plug on it and sat within arc-ing distance of the engine. While turning over, there's no arc. I tried two wires, and neither had spark. I believe the fuses are good (I checked the one that said Ignition Coil). I took the distributor cap off, and while the engine's turning, the rotor button is turning as well. It isn't corroded. Matter of fact, the cap and button look brand new. Am I missing something? I really want this car to run! Thanks for your help in advance.

I just know that I had it during my early childhood (1990~) and would LOVE to locate even it's title!

All I remember are some of the pictures: they were of animals larger than life. One was a man wearing a bomber jacket riding a frog that had lept so far up that it came in contact with a plane. Others are a family going for a swim an a giant fishbowl that houses a giant goldfish! Then there was a huge chicken laying an egg wit people underneath to catch it in a safety net and a large dog used as a fire engine with the ladder strapped to its side!

Right, one more month, then we're outta school for a whole two months i'm so happy, but thats beside the point. I want to dye my hair a really bright color, I'm thinking red and blonde highlights around the front, or maybe red and blonde coons I have naturally dark brown hair, but I have dyed it quite a bit. I dyed it red about a month ago and it failed, because I never bleached my hair. I want it proper fire engine red this time. What bleach do you recommend? and what red hair dye? Should I buy a blonde hair dye too? My hairs almost shoulder length... but I wear clip in extensions a lot, and i'm gonna dye and bleach those too. I have £50 to spend... and dont really want to spend all of it, coz im saving up for an ipod :L i live in the UK btw

I have 3 tow trucks in great shape, due to slow business we had to shut down and now need to sell. I need a website I might be able to use to sell them for FREE or pay once they are sold. 1 is a Classic Ford Wrecker bright fire engine red, another red ford wrecker and a 2000 International Ramp Truck. I have been looking everywhere for parts. Can anyone tell me where I can buy the following parts. I have already tried the local junk yards. in SW Oklahoma.

1) Master Cylinder & Booster
2) Complete Steering System (Tie Rods and Gear Box)
3) Brake Wheel Cyl for rear duels

Okay, I have tried eBay, Local Parts Store, Dealers, Junk Yards, Library, and other comon areas. I can not find anyone, or anywhere that can help find these parts.

I bought this truck new in 92. It's getting rusty as one would guess. I filled with gas Friday night and parked it for the weekend (thought I had bad gas 'til I realized the pump wasn't on with the key. Went to start it Monday morning and nothing (no spark). rotor is turning, no power to the fuel pump or the coil pack. jump wired it and it ran last night. Went to leave for work this morning and nothing again. Fuel pump still working. Do you think it's the distributor itself? Thanks for your help!

In Texas, what drivers license do you need to operate a pumper fire truck. Also, if it is an older model (1970's or later) what insurance do you need and is it expensive? Also, to allow people to ride on it, do you need some sort of special registration, this vehicle would only be used once every couple of weeks or so, and would only drive a limited distance (less than 2 miles). I am a photographer just starting out and this is my first wedding. I'm not a guest or in the wedding party, I will just be taking the pictures. My T-shirt that I made for my business with the logo on it is fire engine red and I will be wearing that with blue denim capris and Doc Martin sandals. The wedding is casual dress but sadly I have no clue when it comes to proper wedding etiquette or attire. LOL. Thanks for your help, I'm nervous as can be.....
