Ok, I just bought a 190 mustang a couple months ago and I was looking into fixing the heater in it cause it gets pretty cold over here. Anyway, the car blows air but there are components missing from the AC and the heater. What Im trying to figure out are what these two metal hoses are that come through the fire wall into the engine compartment. They are on the passenger side and one is on top of the other. I think they are for the heater but Im not sure. Does anyone have any idea what these are for?

I have a 2003 chevy 1500 and i need to route 1/4 hose through the fire wall into the cab for a air horn? Is there a stock hole already there that i can use?

Theres a hose that goes from the Water pump to the fire wall and engine with a Coupler on it, its leaking coolant i was wondering if any one knew what this hose was called and about how much it would cost to buy at an auto store
its 3 all connected by a 3 way coupler

I have a 1995 Z71 1500 with a 5.7L engine and a 4L60-E transmission. I bought an engine wiring harness out of a U-Pull-It and the transmission plugs were all cut. I'm going to solder and heat shrink the wires to put the plugs I have off of another harness on it. The problem is that there are 27 wires. It has 4 pinks, 3 blacks (grounds so don't matter) 2 yellow w/black, 2 yellows, 2 greens. The rest are of a unique color so they will be easy to fix. My problem is that there is so much conduit and electrical tape holding the wires together inside the conduit that tearing the harness conduit off and tracing them down is out of the question. How else can I tell which wires are for which since those jack off's cut the transmission plugs too far up to the fire wall to be able to tell what ones were for what and since some of the wires for the same plugs are the same color. Please help me figure out how to find out which wires are for which.

My big worry is the hump in the middle, where the carpet goes upward near the fire wall, that angle needs a cut, Any ideas , tips appreciated.
I am selling the truck as soon as I get it looking decent, not into investing money into it.

this harness must be uncut with all connectors and I need the two parts that is the engine to fire wall and the fire wall to ecu the ecu, oh it's for a right hand drive eg8, the JDM sir eg9 came with these harness

i have been working on cars since i was no lie about 5 yrs old. i was a jet engine and fuel systems mechanic for 5 years in the us navy. should i attempt this fix my self or should i let a dealer or a shop do it. i have some tools but most was stolen last summer. i might have to go buy tools and have to jack up the engine off the frame just to be able to fit something near the drivers side near the fire wall. i thought i would get on here and ask some opinions. this will be my first on a jeep. but i have drilled and easyoutted a dozen or soo bolts.

i got into a little front end accident and ran the truck of the raod to avoid hitting and on coming car in my lane now i didnt do much damage and matter of fact i have hat the truck back 4 2 months now and no problems but my air wont come out of my front vents and will everywhere else they worked when i bought the truck and now dont the bummper had a dent in it but that was it didnt do damage to the frame it stopped at the bumpper so i checked the suction lnes by the fire wall all wrk and are connected and i can hear the doors in the air box close and open as i cycle through the dial any help on this would be greatly appreciated thanks

I would like to know the color so I can pick them up on the fire wall to attach a chip I bought which is suppose to increase my gas mileage.

I HAVE A 1988 CHEVY 1500 WITH A 4.3 V6 AND A 5 SPEED TRANNY MY QUESTION IS , I JUST BOUGHT THE TRUCK I LOOKED AT THE CLUTCH AND IT SEEMS TO BE FINE THEY SAID IT NEEDED A CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER WHEN I BOUGHT IT AND YES IT DOES IT IS BROKE OFF RIGHT AT THE FIRE WALL ITS MADE OUT OF PLASTIC 1.WHAT WOULD MAKE IT BRAKE 2. IS THERE ANY WAY TO REPAIR THE ONE THAT BROKE BEING THAT IT DID NOT DUE DAMAGE TO THE MASTER CYLINDER IT SELF JUST THE BACK OFF IT WERE IT IS HELD TO THE FIRS WALL ?
