i have a 4hp mercury outboard with no fire. changed ignition coil and plug nothing...checked voltage from two wires coming from magneto and i have voltage apparently not enough. I took fly wheel off and found that there is a condenser. They want 50 dollers for this little condenser. NO WAY! so my question is...Is there another condenser (another boat motor, mower, small engine etc.) that i could use in place of this one? again it looks just like the 10 doller condensers you can buy at the lawn store, about the size of your thumb with one wire coming out of it. any suggestions? again: 4hp mercury outboard motor 1cyl, 1986. The part number on this item is mercury 336-4463 and can be found on ebay for 40-50 dollers. but if its possible to use the 10 doller one's.. well you see my logic.

Hello all, I have an E-350 22 foot box truck that I bought on Ebay for 00. It was listed as an F-350 and 142,000 miles but was told after that it has much more. I purchased with Paypal and I also paid for ebay's Carfax check. Carfax came back clean Vin and mileage. Well, One of the cylinders is not firing so engine needs to be rebuilt I am told. Now, I’m wondering what to do? I disputed transaction because of false listing and Ebay sent me to Paypal since I purchased it with Paypal. Paypal writes that they will get back to me in less than 6 weeks. After 5 weeks they say it's an Ebay issue. I write back to ebay and try to reopen case and they say it is past the 30 days dispute period. What is a person to do. It is impossible to speak to a person there it seems. Should I take them to court; can I win? Should I try to sell the truck and get maybe 0 back. Can I sell to a mechanic? I would sell for parts or the clean box portion would make a great storage shelter. I am thankful for any ideas or offers. Thank you.

I have a 1970 Honda CB350 that doesn't run right. It was given to me to keep if I could get it running, and so I worked onm it a while and got it to run. But there is one problem...When I start it, only the left piston fires, leaving the right one not firing at all.

So I took the spark plug out on the right side, held it in my hand and kicked the engine over, and it didn't shock me at all. So, I assumed that the coil was bad and bought one on ebay. Well, days go by and I finally got it in the mail, I put it on the bike, hooked it all back up, and started it. Well guess what---same thing. Only the left side fired. So I cleaned all of the connections that hook up to the coil, and tried starting it again. But when I started it this time, both pistons fired together for about 5 secs, and the right one quit firing again. So I killed the engine, started it again, and held my hand around the spark plug cap, and felt for a shock, and only got a good shock here and there. Help! PLZ!

I HATE my wedding flowers! So I ordered a customized 31pc Silk Bridal bouquet set off of ebay. They were custom made to the way I wanted them. Right now I absolutely hate them! My grooms boutineer is just a plain white rose with a huge leaf in the background, my mothers' corsages are pin on ones (I wanted wrist ones), so now I am going to buy our mom's real flower corsages, because they deserve it. My bridesmaids bouquets are so skimpy and not what the picture was at all, and my bouquet is a cascading one. My colors are red and white, so she used 2 different shades of red in them. They look so bad.. it's a deep red (what I wanted, like I specified) and then some bright fire engine red that looks so fake. I emailed the lady and she said I can't return them because they are custom. The only bouquet I like is my MOH's! I do have a wedding planner that may be able to fix them for me, but I'm just not happy that I paid so much money, and now I will have to fork out more. I don't know what to do!? Do I try to sell them and just go with real flowers? Should I try to fix them myself? I just don't know.. I only have 4 months until my wedding and I just want to be happy with my flowers! Help! I think I just really needed to vent, because my fiance thinks they look fine (typical guy!) Anyone else have a problem like this?

I have been looking everywhere for parts. Can anyone tell me where I can buy the following parts. I have already tried the local junk yards. in SW Oklahoma.

1) Master Cylinder & Booster
2) Complete Steering System (Tie Rods and Gear Box)
3) Brake Wheel Cyl for rear duels

Okay, I have tried eBay, Local Parts Store, Dealers, Junk Yards, Library, and other comon areas. I can not find anyone, or anywhere that can help find these parts.

and then dropping another pontiac fiero engine in it from a junkyard or from ebay or something...i was going to buy an escalade for 5 grand but the insurance is outrageous for it so screw that and its
cuz i got places to go...and my bike is messed up...and wont hold up any longer...my hole crank just fell apart earlier...i fixed it
but it wont hold up...it might for maybe like 5 miles max...but i ride my bike like 10 miles a day...and my pedal is cracking in half
so can i? or not...if not what can i do then? i need a car really badly
and am willing to do anything

do they have alarms? how do you disable the GPS? are they unlocked when they leave them running to check on something or while buying donuts? do they completely empty their contents when their shift is over or share the car with other officers? How much can you get for one on ebay or the aftermarket? how much for just the engine? the tires? anyone interested in purchasing something like this? What about a fire truck or an ambulance? same questions for one of those.

I live out of the city. the last time that there was a fire out here it took the fire truck 30min from the time I called. I am sure that the neighbors that were closer to the burning home had already called the Fire Dept so who knows how long it REALLY took. We only live about 2 miles from the city line & there are a lot of houses out here. I am just afraid that it could be us or one of my neighbors. I have already looked on ebay they have them. I just don't want to buy one use it then get in trouble for it. I know it dosen't make any sense you you & me but what would the county or fire dept do.

What are the other parts that I should look for & possible purchase to make sure it works well.

I obviously won't be using it by myself... I would hope that the men in our community would come together & assist as most of them are related to each other.
FYI: I live in South Texas
I wouldn't expect to practice though it might be a ideal.
