i would like to find a form that would allow my volunteer firedept to log any calls in which no fire truck/ambulance was needed. instead of using a pcr
Please tell me what city you live in, and what strobe light colors the following vehicles are allowed to use:
4) Tow Trucks
5) Snow Plows (if any)
Im in pain too, still trying to get over the fact that last night he was alive and we joked around like always... I picked up my friend and we headed to a basketball game, upon our return we noticed a fire truck and an ambulance outside my friend's house. When we walked into the house we saw the body bag... he died of a heart attack while watching on tv the same basketball game that his daughter and I attended to. We didnt have a chance to say goodbye or to thank him for the great time we had since it was him that bought us the tickets.
Can you drive around for fun? Day, night setting? Graphics? Ambulance, Fire Truck, Police car. (Thats why I want it) Can you change the siren tones on the emergency vehicles, and are the lights and sirens seperate? I've seen videos of the game and it looks pretty cool and fun. I am buying it and I would like some comments on it, and my questions answered.
Thanks, Daniel ARFDR57
do they have alarms? how do you disable the GPS? are they unlocked when they leave them running to check on something or while buying donuts? do they completely empty their contents when their shift is over or share the car with other officers? How much can you get for one on ebay or the aftermarket? how much for just the engine? the tires? anyone interested in purchasing something like this? What about a fire truck or an ambulance? same questions for one of those.
My boys were easy- a noisy fire truck, or a noisy ambulance, or a noisy ANYTHING. For a girl? I don't know. She already has so many dolls it's scary. I want to get her something extra-special, but something she can play with- after all, keepsakes are really more for mom than baby, right?
No more dolls.
If I get her a noisy vehicle her brothers will take it from her. Unless it's pink.
She has been walking for over four months-no help needed there. She RUNS now.
As I can see in youtube videos, ambulances in belgium and germany have airhorn sirens fitted to the ambulance itself. As I know it is used to warn traffic much better (since airhorns are louder); but is there a disadvantage to using airhorns in ambulances? but why do european fire trucks use airhorn siren (w/o deafening the passengers)?
When the Fire Dept responds to medical 911 calls why do they send the big pumper trucks when there is no fire?
I got home tonight and there was a ambulance, a small fire truck and a huge pumper truck outside my apartment building!
I thought maybe there had been a fire. Getting out I saw the Fire Department were in the restaurant across the street. Looking in the window I saw the paramedics aiding an elderly woman having trouble breathing.
I've never been able to figure out why on such calls they send the big pumper trucks when they might be needed else where if there were a fire somewhere.
