		<description>The timing belt change was probably botched and mismatched a belt tooth or two. Poorly executed timing belt changes often screw up other things down the road such as cam timed events, like ignition and fuel injection sychronization. You will not get engine codes to tell you this.

If your distributor cap and rotor are fresh, this can help to smooth out the timed events mentioned above by adding tolerance to the firing sequence. Replace the distributor cap and rotor. Now is a good time to replace the wires also, since you will be pulling them. Also, make sure the wires are going to the correct cylinders. You may need to rotate the distributor a little to clean up the timing, but do the cap &amp; rotor first. I had an ES250 with the same issues. Don&#039;t mess with the ECU or crank sensor. It&#039;s a Toyota.

Even if this does not remedy the problem, it won&#039;t set you back much $ or time and it will be good for your car no matter what.</description>
