Is there a better combination of oil+oil additive for my ford v10?
I'm coming up on 200,000 thousand miles on my '02 f250 v10 and i've read a little about these products and they convinced me they could keep my engine fired up. I'm using royal purple 5-30 with lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer. Is there any better products? Money isn't an issue.

I have 416,000 on my 1997 F150 4.6 litre V8. I have always used 5W30 fully synthetic and a bottle of Lucas at every change. Can’t do better than that. The engine still runs like new and uses no oil between changes. Starts first try, even at minus 15 temperatures. The synthetic oils and the Lucas will give you the best long life chance for any engine. I have not been easy on the truck either. I just maintain it well. It will last a long time yet. I have know of many who have put well over the million mile mark without problems using synthetic oils and lucas at every change (airport limos – I’m a pilot, and always ask the Lincoln drivers about their luck with the engines since its the same as what is in my truck. They use the same oils and lucas).

Personally I don’t like any additives in the oil, There should be no issues if you change the oil regularly
