Chevy c1500 engine misfire question HELP?
i bought a 1995 Chevy 1500 with the 4.3 v6 and 2wd. i replaced the spark plugs and wires because my truck kept stalling at stop signs . also it would loose power like none of the cylinders were firing when i tried to maintain one speed. when i turn off the truck i smell exhaust but its much more pungent that regular exhaust. and it still sounds like none of the cylinders are firing when i try to maintain one stedy speed. im gonna change the distributor cap and rotor tomorrow. would this help remedy the problem? i also replaced my iac (idle air control valve). and if its not the ignition what would it be?

fuel pressure regulator or ignition control module ICM

save your money. its not your ignition. its fuel related, check your fuel pressure. sounds like loss of fuel.
